Using the application
Švietimo duomenys helps people explore official Lithuanian education data using natural language.
Instead of searching through multiple databases, users can simply ask questions in ChatGPT and receive answers based on publicly available education statistics.
The application itself does not create official data.
It retrieves publicly available datasets, interprets your question and presents the relevant information in a more accessible way.
Official data
You may use the application to search for public education indicators, compare schools, municipalities or datasets, understand trends in Lithuanian education, generate summaries and explanations based on available data, and support research, journalism, policy analysis, school leadership or public interest work.
You agree not to use the application to interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful or abusive content, misrepresent AI-generated responses as official decisions, or use the application in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
AI-generated responses
The application uses publicly available datasets published by official Lithuanian institutions. Švietimas #1 aggregates and presents these datasets, but it is not the original publisher of the underlying data.
Whenever possible, the original data source is referenced. The application does not create official statistics and does not replace primary data sources.
Important: If you use information from the application in reports, publications or decisions, you should verify important figures against the original source.
No Professional Advice
Responses are generated using OpenAI language models together with data retrieved through the Švietimas #1 Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
AI can help explain and summarise data, but it may occasionally misunderstand a question, select an incomplete dataset or produce an inaccurate interpretation.
The application should not be treated as a source of legal, financial, governmental or professional advice. It is a tool for exploring public education data.
Accuracy of Information
The application is intended solely for informational and educational purposes.
Nothing provided through the application constitutes:

financial advice;
governmental advice;
regulatory guidance;
